This is a Marketplace Policy under the Kogan.com Marketplace Seller Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) Capitalised terms in this policy have the same meaning as defined in the Agreement.
The Kogan.com mission is to make the most in-demand products and services more affordable and accessible.
Sellers are responsible for setting their own prices and shipping for Seller Goods on the Kogan Marketplace.
As such, Kogan Marketplace sellers play an important role in reflecting these ideals in providing Kogan.com customers the widest selection of competitively priced products and services, with the fastest shipping and best customer experience.
Kogan regularly monitors prices of Listings on the Kogan Marketplace , including shipping cost, and compares them to the other prices available online to see if there are any pricing practices that may cause harm to the Kogan shopping experience.
Such pricing practices may include, and are not limited to:
- Setting a RRP (Don't Pay) that is misleading, including where the price of the Seller Goods exceeds its recommended retail price or where the Seller Goods have not been previously sold at the referenced price by the seller or elsewhere within a reasonable time period;
- Setting an excessive shipping fee on Seller Goods;
- Offering prices that are not competitive with other recent prices found online;
- Offering bundles of a product where the unit price of the bundle is greater than the total price of the single products.
In instances where a seller has been found to in a way that contravenes these fair pricing practices, Kogan.com can remove the Seller Listing , and in serious cases, suspend or terminate the seller’s access to the Kogan Marketplace.
